By donating you will help us raise important funds to restore, enhance and protect the natural environment in the Barrabool Hills and adjacent areas through sustainable land management and conservation activities.

We are a Not-for-Profit organisation relying on grants and donations to enable our members to keep doing their valuable, meaningful on-ground work.
All of the work undertaken by the Committee and members is VOLUNTARY.
As part of the 162 annual reports released by the state government on 30 October 2024, it was revealed that grants paid out by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action to private individuals, businesses and non-profit organisations more than halved, from $1bn in 2022-23 to $479m in 2023-24, cutting grants to landcare, community development, agricultural show societies and innovative farmers. With Victoria’s debt crisis deepening, it is unknown what the future of funding for landcare looks like…
Help our members to continue their efforts to improve and conserve our natural environment by:

Protecting catchments and streams
Preserving remnant native vegetation
Controlling pests and weeds
Assisting land occupiers to enhance their properties by interconnected wildlife corridors
Engaging and actively involving our community in these aims
